1Who we are
Helparr is operated by HELPER AI LIMITED (RC 8324777), a company registered in Nigeria with its office in Lagos. These Terms are an agreement between you and Helper AI Limited. By creating an account or using Helparr you accept them.
2What Helparr is
Helparr is a platform that connects people. Customers hire independent artisans, buy from independent sellers, and book deliveries and rides from independent riders. Artisans, sellers, riders and fleet owners use Helparr to find work and get paid.
Helparr is a marketplace and intermediary. We are not the employer of any artisan or rider, not the seller of goods listed by stores, and not a party to the service itself. The contract for a job, order or trip is between you and the other user. We provide the tools — discovery, messaging, escrow, dispute resolution and verification — that make it safe.
3Your account
- You must be 18 or older to use Helparr.
- Keep your details accurate, and keep your password and your transaction PIN secret. Money actions on Helparr require your PIN; anything approved with it counts as approved by you.
- One person, one account. Accounts are personal and not transferable.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, our safety rules, or the law.
4Zero-tolerance: content & conduct
Helparr has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. This applies to posts, photos, videos, store listings, reviews, profiles and messages.
- No nudity or sexual content, no violence or threats, no hate or harassment, no scams, no illegal goods or services, no impersonation, no spam.
- Every piece of user content can be reported in the app, and any user can be blocked. Reports are reviewed and offending content is removed promptly — our target is within 24 hours — and abusive users are ejected, permanently where warranted.
- Filters and human moderators screen content; moderator decisions may be appealed through support.
5Coins, wallet & fees
Coins
Coins are Helparr's in-app credits, used mainly to unlock contact with artisans. One coin is priced at ₦100 (or the equivalent shown in your local currency). Gifted coins — such as signup bonuses — can be spent on contacts but are not withdrawable and have no cash value. Purchased coins are consumed when used and are not refundable once spent.
Wallet
Eligible accounts in Nigeria get a naira wallet with a dedicated virtual account for funding. Wallet money can pay for orders, deliveries and coins, and can be withdrawn to a Nigerian bank account. Card payments and payouts are processed by our payment partner (Paystack); Helparr never stores your full card details.
Outside Nigeria, accounts operate in coin mode: you buy coins with your card in your local currency at the rate shown at checkout. Naira wallet features (bank withdrawal, local transfer) are available only to eligible Nigerian accounts.
Fees
Helparr earns from coin sales, marketplace commission on store orders, delivery fees, withdrawal fees and promoted listings. Every fee you pay is shown to you before you confirm. We may change fees prospectively; changes never apply retroactively.
6Escrow on orders
When you pay for a store order or a wallet-funded delivery, your money is held in escrow — it is not released to the seller or rider until the order is delivered and confirmed. If something goes wrong you can open a dispute before release; escrowed funds are then held until the dispute is resolved. If a request expires or is cancelled before it is taken, escrow is returned to your wallet.
7Helparr NOW — deliveries & rides
- Fares are quoted upfront from distance, zone and demand, in your regional currency where supported. The fare you see is the fare you confirm.
- Two payment modes: wallet (escrowed, released on delivery) and direct — you pay the rider in cash on delivery. In direct mode Helparr does not process the payment and, where the app says so, takes no cut of it.
- Requests are matched to riders by distance and vehicle capability (for example, large packages go to cars; passenger trips go to the vehicle type you picked).
- During a job, the rider's live position is shared with the customer, and the pickup and drop-off contact details are shared with the rider — that is what makes the delivery work.
- Either side can cancel within the windows shown in the app; repeated abusive cancellation can lead to account limits.
8Riders & fleets
Riders are independent contractors, not employees of Helparr. Riders must provide accurate vehicle details, hold whatever licences and permits their vehicle and city require, and follow road law. A rider on a fleet sees the owner's commission split before accepting work; the split shown on a job is the split that applies. Fleet owners are responsible for dealing fairly with their riders.
9Verification & the green tick
Artisans and stores can apply for verification by submitting identity documents, photos and their business location. Review is AI-assisted with human oversight. Verification is a signal, not a guarantee: it means checks passed at the time of review. We may decline, limit or revoke verification at our discretion, including when checks later fail.
10Disputes
If an order or delivery goes wrong, open a dispute in the app. Disputes are mediated with the help of an AI mediator and reviewed by human moderators; both sides can present evidence and appeal a decision. Dispute outcomes decide what happens to escrowed money. Using disputes fraudulently is itself a breach of these Terms.
11AI features
Helparr includes AI features — the Helparr AI assistant, smart positioning for riders, AI-assisted verification, moderation and dispute mediation. AI output can be imperfect; it is assistance, not professional advice. Any payment action started in AI chat still requires your PIN before money moves.
12What you must not do
- Fraud of any kind, including fake orders, fake disputes and payment abuse.
- Selling or requesting anything illegal, dangerous or counterfeit.
- Taking escrowed orders off-platform to dodge escrow or fees.
- Harassing, threatening or defrauding other users, on or off the app.
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the service or its security.
13Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give Helparr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content inside the service (your store page, your posts, your reviews) for as long as it is on Helparr. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
14Ending things
You can stop using Helparr at any time and delete your account in the app. We can suspend or end accounts that breach these Terms. On closure, wallet balances that are lawfully yours remain withdrawable through support, subject to identity checks; records we must keep by law (like transaction history) are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
15Liability
Helparr is provided as is. We work hard on safety — verification, escrow, moderation, disputes — but we do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of what independent users provide, and we are not liable for their acts or omissions. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid Helparr in the six months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that your local law says cannot be removed.
16Changes, law & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced in the app and the new version applies from its effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions: support@helparr.com.
